This section will explain how to create and manage categories for your workout templates. To be able to Configure Template Categories you need to be signed in with a Staff account that has System Configuration privileges.
1. Enter the name you want to give the template.
2. Select the category that you wish to assign your new template.
3. If you wish you can enter a description for the workout. (This is not mandatory.)
4. You can restrict the template to be only available for a specific location.
The "Add Exercise to Template" section of the page allows you to select and add exercises to your template.
5. Select the exercise you wish to add to the template.
6. By clicking the "Show Picture / Description" you will see an explanation of how to complete the exercise, along with starting and ending position pictures. (See example below.)
7. Enter the number of reps for each set. You can create up to 3 sets. (For cardio exercises, enter minutes! For flexibility, enter seconds.)
8. Enter any notes that you wish to accompany the exercise. (e.g. seat height)
9. You can if you wish enter a tempo for the exercise. (e.g. '4-0-2' for a 4 second lift, 0 hold, 2 seconds down)
10. Enter a rest period for the exercise, if you wish. (e.g. rest between sets in seconds)
11. Click the "Submit" button to add the exercise to the template.
To add more exercises to your template, repeat the process from step 5.
You will then see a "Update complete" message appear next to the "Update". This tells you that you have successfully updated you template.
To view, or edit, an existing program template click on the "View/Change" link of the template you wish to view, or edit.
1. Click on an exercise name to see a description plus a starting and ending pictures of the exercise.
2. Click the "Delete" link to remove an exercise from the program template.
3. To move the exercise up in the program order, click "Up".
4. To move the exercise down in the program order, click "Down".
5. This is the area where you can add an exercise to the program template. (See the " Exercise Program Template Detail" section above.)
6. Click the "Update" button to save your changes.
7. Click "Delete Template" if you wish to permanently delete the template. You will need to click the button again to verify that you want to delete this template.
Click "Delete" if you wish to permanently delete the template. You will need to click a "Commit - Delete Template" on the Delete Workout Template page.
